tiny egg and the monster egg

my girls, between 10 and 12 months, laid one egg the size of a robin's and then a monster size egg that measured over 3" long...both out of nowhere, all nice average sized eggs before and since. chickens are so fun!

I got one of these little tinsy eggs today too? Wierd. AM new to chickens and was hoping I'm not doing something wrong but no one so far seems to be concerned about the itty bitty egg so I guess I'm ok?
