Tiny Egg

I got a tiny egg from one of my hens today. They are not new to laying big eggs as you can see in the pic. Why all the sudden a small egg??

In my flock of Bobs, it is common for an occasional small egg. I don't know what causes it, but it does happen sometimes. Nothing to worry about.

it could be what we call a fart egg it's really not worth saving if you crack it open and they're ok then that is exactly what it is. other then that the ol egg factory just gave out for the day

Sometimes they lay a small egg and sometimes a double yolker. The body works in mysterious ways.
