that's actually a fair size egg, lash eggs tend to not have a yolk at all and are truly tiny.

We have never seen one that small out of our girls. I'll take your word for it.

Did your chickens just start laying? I've always referred to the smaller, marble sized eggs as "fart" or "fairy" eggs. If only our chickens laid quarters; I suspect that would be an excuse to get more chickens.
