Tiny Serama Hen has Mites!

My tiny Serama Hen has mites and is anemic. Can I treat her with Ivermectin and if so, do I apply it topically and how much should I use. She probably does not weigh 1/2 a pound.

I would not use ivermectin. I would use permethrin topically. I would treat all birds and coop.

This is one example of a premixed permethrin ready to use spray.

This is what I used.

I was sure that my hen was going to die. I treated her mites with this and again 7 days later. The whole coop and all birds got treated.
my sickly looking, non laying, non eating hen is fully recovered and is laying again.
