Never gather eggs and put them in your coat pocket before putting wood in the outdoor woodstove. You end up with a gooey mess when you put your hand in your pocket!

[IMG] I put an egg in my pocket today, didn't break. *knocks on wood*
But I have had one break in my pocket before. Talk about a mess! Phew! And it didn't smell too good either!

If you want to winterize your bee hive and check on your little buggers one more time before the cold hits, do not be concerned if there are no bees towards the top of the hive. Do not, under any circumstances, take the whole hive apart frantically looking for your bees, for you will find them and they will be very upset that you let a draft in. [IMG]
