I will be getting some baby ducks this weekend from my local Atwoods/Tractor Supply. And I am wanting to know any tips on raising and getting them to trust and not be afraid of humans whenever they reach maturity. I have a good secure pen with heat lamp in my room and they will be well taken care of and handled every day. So wanting to know what treats can I give them? How do I determine which are male and female? I have heard to look at there wing feathers or to give them a soft squeeze to make them poop them look at there rear end, if there is a red bump than it is male. Is this true? Can I supervise them outside and let them swim around in a kitty pool? They will be living with chickens whenever they mature! And when can I let them be with my chickens? I will be getting 2 by the way
