Thanks! He's not ours, but he is the sire of four that we have. His name is Wharley Magic Flute , he's an 11.2 & 1/2 hand tall Welsh Mountain Pony that was imported from Wales.

The gray one is a Blue Slate, the one in the back is a Sweetgrass and the black and white one is a Royal Palm.
Remind me, when I am able, that I want Royal Palms.
 
The tom's beards are heavier but rarely get very long because the hen's like their guys well trimmed. They will stand in front of a tom and just nibble away at his beard.
So they like a civilized country gentleman is what you are saying. Ironic. Wild turkey hens must prefer a more rugged look because wild turkey toms seem to get longer beards.
