Tired of throwing away dirty duck eggs. Help !

Now I have to ask, you said you throw your duck eggs out? How do you mean? As in "in the garbage"?? Hundreds of them? Why in the world would you do that? Why not feed them to dogs, cats, or even back to your ducks if nothing else?

I don't ever waste an egg. I paid for that egg and it's gonna be put to some use. If I get one that is cracked or the dumb ducks lay it in the water or something, I will either eat it myself or, if I don't think it's fit for human consumption for some reason, I'll feed it to Buck and at times I've even fed them back to my chickens and ducks.

There is just no reason at all to just throw them away. Hope that helps.

I can't get enough duck eggs to sell at work. I think taste depends on the type of bird (maybe) and mostly diet. Mine free range and eat layer pellets and treats.

We've had both runner/khaki cross eggs and have had the australian spotteds too. Why waste?

Both are very mild, no difference to us from chickens except a larger yolk (yummy toast dipping).

I only wipe them with a hot/wet paper towel and stick 'em in the fridge. Even the ones pulled from a mud puddle.

Eh, I just leave them be. Unless they're CAKED with poop, then I rinse them off. Still haven't died!

AND I love the flavor! And the firm texture. Much better than chicken eggs, which for some reason, I don't even like. Maybe they seem mushy now compared to duck eggs?
