Tis Time for a March 2020 Hatch-a-long!

LOVE bone broth. I pretty much turn my nose up at store bought broth now, even the store bought "bone broth." Nothing compares to making it at home, simmered or in the crock pot for at least 24 hrs.

I cooked mine in the instant pot yesterday and it took about 3 hours. My husband said it tasted like he was eating a whole chicken he said he loved it!

I tried in the instant pot once and it didn't gel like I like it to so I went back to the crock pot for broth. Love my instant pot for so many other things, though!

I don't know what's going on. I've been crying my eyes out all morning. I have to get rid of Squatch too because he's tearing up my girls... It's like my whole flock is falling apart

I should have never let my husband convince me to get Jersey Giants... They're amazing chickens don't get me wrong. But I ordered pullets and got Cockerels. Sid was human aggressive so he got rehomed. Now Squatch is too big for my girls.

He keeps chasing off my two favorites too and pulling their feathers. I think because they won't mate with him anymore.

I don't know what to do besides cry my eyes out

No idea... He was acting really funny yesterday and a couple days ago he had peck marks on his comb that were bleeding.

Today when I went out there he was stumbling around so I picked him up and brought him inside.

I gave him water, vitamins, and colloidal silver through a dropper. I also put cat food in with him because I figured he might like it.

His eyes are closed and he is really sleepy.

I've never had any type of disease in my flock ever so I'm not sure what is going on.

I just feel hopeless...

Here's the mini all fluffed up. I'm not sure why they're the color they are not what I was expecting.
