Tis Time for a March 2020 Hatch-a-long!

How do you all tell what's going on in a maran egg? I have 4 of them. I think I see something in at least 2 but I can't be sure about the other 2.

For the first 10 days I usually can’t tell. After day 10 you can usually see a contrast with the air cell in the eggs that are developing and then you candle from the bottom you can gauge the size of clear space vs. darkness (aka where the chick is). It’s not easy and I’m often unsure.

I don't candle until day 11. At that point I can see that something's going on. Then I candle again right before lockdown, at which point they just look full of darkness/chick.

Here are the 2 chicks that hatched over night. I've moved them to a brooder because they were moving the egg around that hasn't hatched yet. Fingers crossed that it will still hatch. What does the spot on the top of the head represent?

No I saw little movement though.
Sorry I'm losing track with everyone hatching right now on this thread - Is it your last egg?

ETA - I remember, that's why you checked, haha.

If I were in your position I'd be tempted to make a little peek-hole in the air cell if it hasn't pipped by the end of day 21, since everyone else hatched already. Or you could just leave it.
