Tis Time for a March 2020 Hatch-a-long!

Anyone know how long it takes a duck from internal pip to external?

24-48 hours. My first duckling last month was close to 48 hours. Drove me a little insane.

Exciting! What kind are they?

American Guinea Hog. We actually just brought our herd down to 9 but they always have other plans. I need to process 2 more boars and castrate whatever males she had and we will finally be boar free. No more unplanned pregnancies. Lol.

Ahhhhh so maybe tomorrow. Well at least it's nearing lol. I want my incubator back 😂

I’m seeing a spot of blood on that egg that pipped the wrong end. 🤷🏼‍♀️

On the bright side another egg has pipped now. So 3 pipped and 1 out.
