Tis Time for a March 2020 Hatch-a-long!

The only problem is that I haven't seen them mating yet. I have a Drake and 3 hens.

My husband actually ate the duck eggs from yesterday. He said they were amazing.

Well I would say check the yolks but it sounds like your husband already took care of the yolks. lol!

They should lay more today or maybe tomorrow. He knows how to check yolks I think if not I'll teach him when I'm home.

My chocolate muscovy is gorgeous and mixing her with the Pekin would work great because the chicks would be mules and would not be able to make any offspring. They would just lay eggs and that's it. Perfect for me!

Wondering if I should put some of my ducks eggs in the bator. I've never seen the Drake mate but I haven't been home. I want Pekin muscovy cross chicks because my muscovy Coco is so dang gorgeous! She's a chocolate muscovy and the coloring in her wings is stunning. I didn't clip her wings so she flies everywhere, but she knows to stay home View attachment 2020465 I wasn't seeing mine mate either til one day a few weeks ago in the pool. My duck seems to have some infatuation with my rooster he hates her she's ridiculous that's all I know. I tell her he's not into her kind. My muscovy seemed to be getting pretty close to my Pekin Drake

Yea I'm here lol. I wasn't sure if I was going to hatch because my duck has been laying very well til I decided to save eggs. I started saving them and then she stopped laying, so I just set the 3 I had 3 days ago. I went out this morning after getting no eggs from her in a few days she layed a egg. I got it and put it in the incubator anyway so fingers crossed I get a few ducklings
