Tis Time for a March 2020 Hatch-a-long!

I'm not cooling or spraying mine. I'm on day 10 and they seem to be fine.
I had mixed reviews on cooling and spray but I went ahead and did it because it made scene to me to spray them because the mother duck gets off of her eggs and comes back to them with water on her.

So I can do it like now? It's day 10 for me. What kind of water do I spray with? Distilled or my filtered well water? Should it be warm or cool water?
I'm not saying whether you should or not, just that out of 2 hatches, I had much better results with it. I can't say that proves things one way or another. 😄 I used warm well water in a sprayer bottle. I took off the incubator lid for 30 minutes. After I misted each egg. Then I put on the lid and turned it back on. It does something to the membrane from what I've read and it actually helps with evaporation in the eggs.

I just use warm water and don't wipe them off. We have well water here but I don't think that matters
How long do you let them cool?

I'm doing an experiment... I have 12 duck eggs I'm not spraying. I'm going to mark them so I know which ones they are. We will see if these hatch without spraying

I can't do that part with shutting off the incubator i have 3 chicken eggs in there as well. I don't want to kill them because I think they're my polishes eggs.

I took them out and put them on a towel and sprayed them

If you start spraying your eggs I was told to do it once a day and to stop around day 21.

If anyone here has info on spraying eggs please let us know.
They're sprayed I'm sitting here wondering how long I let them cool. I put them on a towel on the floor. I need to find a sharpie to mark those 12 eggs.
