Tis Time for a March 2020 Hatch-a-long!

Mine got that high and I got condensation. Then I had a lot of drowned chicks. It was so sad. I'll never forget my first hatch. It was awful.
So far I've been lucky but I sit on top of my hatcher when it's running and will tend to assist earlier rather than later if I think there's a problem. I would rather help than have them die because I waited too long.

I looked for a March hatch-a-long, so I did start one, but I have eggs in homemade incubator due 3/17

I have a question regarding egg turners. My Farm Innovator has the cupped turner that keeps the eggs upright. My Hovabator has the flat turner that rolls the eggs on their side. Has anyone done a comparison between the 2 types? What do you have?
I have two of the upright turners and I know for shipped eggs it tends to work well for setting the air cells.

Both of my bators turn the eggs on their sides. I removed the turner in one of them so I could fit more eggs, though 😅.

My one complaint about the automatic turning in my Brinsea mini ii is that it assumes that you have very little difference in egg size in your clutch. I had to really pay attention for a couple of days and play with the position of the eggs to make sure they were all turning. It'd work flawlessly if you were hatching all large eggs, though.
