Once I get my NPIP, I’ll ship you as many eggs as it takes to get a Splash Ameraucana pullet haha
Edited for spelling.
I may have missed this. What color roosters do you have? I may have to order some eggs in the attempt to find a rooster for my girls.Really????![]()

What are you planting?
I'm going to plant so seeds I think soon. Just have to get some dirt first
That would be nice. I need to plant some plants. I was going to do seeds but I don't know if I want to this year.Today I was weed pulling around my fence line so it can look nicer.
Yesterday we planted carrots, corn, tomatoes, jalapeño peppers, watermelon and some other stuff I think.
I want to start letting my chicks run around outside, it’s getting warmer. Maybe I’ll see about making them a moveable mini run for them to roam for an hour or two a day.
Any suggestions for plants to plant specifically for the chickens? I have a chicken garden and a people garden planned for this year. I'm growing runner beans and loofa hopefully on their run for shade.Today I was weed pulling around my fence line so it can look nicer.

After D18 were you hand turning? One page I read said they hand turned because the upright turner wasn't turning them enough? I have the kind that turns them on their sides, though.I've been basically dry hatching them. My humidity is about 20% to 30% depending on the humidity in the house.
I was spraying them from day 10 to day 15 with distilled water at room temp on a towel out if the incubator. After day 15 I sprayed them inside the incubator because I didn't have chicken eggs at the time. I sprayed them like that till day 18. After day 18 I'd turn them twice a day (I used my turner until day 14 because I had bantam eggs about to hatch). I stopped turning them on day 21.
After day 21 I haven't touched them. They're supposed to hatch on the 12th, but I have about 8 external pips and I hear a lot of peeping.
Feel free to ask me anything.
I would have never thought of garlic! Some great ideas here, thank you for sharing!I saved some images somewhere...here they are!
EDIT: I only kept the lists for the plant recommendations. I don't give my chickens ACV or Molasses, Molasses can actually give them diarrhea if given too often. Though it is safe occasionally. I don't give it just because.

Maybe I just have a really dry house?? I have a Version 2 and a Version 3 NR360. Did you get one of the fancy new dome models? NU1 or something? I'm so tempted to get another NR360 just so I can "keep up with the Joneses" LOL.
