My eggs for the lavender ameraucana and olive eggers shipped yesterday so I should have them by tomorrow. The other legbar and isbar eggs ship on the 16th. Supper excited about those eggs.

I'm think pipped through a blood vessel and didn't loose enough moisture. Where were your air cells at?

Where they should've been for ducks. Hopefully I don't lose all these ducks.

See what the heck is this stuff... It's nasty and the duckling was alive this morning. I'm not sure if it still is. It was sticking it's beak out of the hole.

I don't know what to do because I don't know what's going on.

Oh, I love the corn cob bedding! The chickens have a ball when I dump a new bag, because there's usually 1-3 kernels of corn in a bag and they just go to town digging through it.

Don't panic! Mine did this until they started hatching, and then the moisture from the eggs/chicks helped keep it steady while everyone was hatching. I added small amounts of water to paper towels in a cap from a spice jar (I will be trying a sponge next time) to keep the humidity level until I saw an external pip. I had 8 eggs in there and 6 hatched, which is better than my Brinsea did for my first hatch! They cannot be shrink wrapped if they are not externally pipped. Try a damp sponge in the bottom and keep an eye on it. ❤ I hope you get some babies soon!

Thank you that makes me feel better I was sure I killed them all! I did stick a sponge in there the humidity was at 63 before I left I figured it was better to have it higher so if it drops while I’m at work it won’t be too bad.
