Tis Time for a March 2020 Hatch-a-long!

The flowery easter egger hatched and it looks the same as the oliver egger so far. No way I'm keeping track.

Right now I have 1 blue, 2 splash, and 3 black Olive Egger chicks hatched. 4 more to go! I expected all of them to be black so I really can't complain! My friend isn't going to know what to do when I tell her about the rainbow that is hatching!

EDIT: I wanted to keep the chick that came out of the grey egg but there's no way I'll remember which black chick. lol, Oh well.

Dropped off the chicks and ducklings. Now I have 7 chicks left and 3 ducklings... 4 duck eggs have movement but they haven't internally pipped.

Clutch 2 - D14 Update

I had my first real quitter, a lavender marans that looked like it had quit around D6. So I now have 5 eggs in this clutch:
1 BBS marans
1 opal legbar
2 green-laying rhodebars
1 olive egger (the dark khaki egg)

Everyone's alive, although it's hard to tell with that one really dark egg. The air cells looked all over the place, but everyone's weight is bang on target (individually, and as an average). This is why I prefer weight to aircells with shipped eggs! Allows me to freak out quite a bit less.

I’m over here losing my mind over this Olive Egger. I want it to hatch so so badly. It’s my only OE. It has been pipped since morning and I can see in the hole and it’s squirming around in there and I’m convinced it is stuck and can’t zip. Ugh.

So are mine but if you look real close you can tell or at least I could. Do the olive eggers have feathered legs?

Hello all I still have my two cuties going strong. 4 are left to hatch it’s nearing the end of day 22. When should I be worried or candle? No internal pips. The babies were bumping into the eggs in the incubator before I took them out. I hope it didn’t hurt them. I’m getting so impatient it doesn’t seem that there’s any movement and I haven’t candled so idk if they internally pipped

Your olive eggers might look different than mine since mine are F1 from a blue egg and you said yours were green?
