I've had bucks that like to spray. We don't keep those, one will be going in the freezer this weekend. I'm sure I'm gonna feel guilty, but I can't take that behavior for long. I have other bucks that have manners.
I haven't had rabbits long enough to experience health problems, but in any livestock it's best to cull inferior stock, and chronically unwell ones. You could keep him as a pet, than he should be treated as a pet and taken to a vet I suppose, but I wouldn't breed from him just in case.
Rabbits can fall somewhere between pets and livestock. Choosing which side of that fence they are on can help you make management decisions. I get it though.
