to do i sell chicks?

im incubating my eggs right now, and theyre coming out in a few days
i was wondering, how do i sell my chicks
who do i sell it to
how much should i sell it for ( i3-4) too much?
i live in the los angeles area.
please help!

I think you could get $3-4 depending on breed. Try a Craigslist ad.

Craigs list is a good place to sell them. Price varies depending upon breed, local market conditions. You can get more for pullets than straight run.

I would begin by having someone help me with sentence structure and punctuation. It does not need to be perfect but a step or two from where this post resides. Next I would let everyone know the type of birds I am selling, that would help assess the price. If they are common hatchery stock run of the mill birds you need only check any number of large hatcherys for straight run prices on unspecified breeds and that would be a good place to start.

I think most hatcheries can sell straight run chicks for about 2.50. Do you have anything to offer that would command a premium over that?

Hey, welcome to BYC! Well, I can't help you with the prices where you're at, but do yall have any local news/advertisement papers around your area? There are some papers that are dedicated to just buying/selling, they usually charge next to nothing (I know of one that's free unless you're a business) or you could try something along the lines of craigslist, kijiji, etc. Also, a lot of co-ops will let you advertise your animals there (flyers and bulletin boards) so you might could check into that. Hope this helps somewhat!
