To Turn or Not to Turn?

I read somewhere, long time ago, of a study done on broody hens and the number of times they turn the eggs in the nest they are setting on....96 times on average in a 24 hour period of time.

If you don’t turn them, make sure to set them upright, point end down.

I didn’t turn my last hatch due to badly saddled aircells, out of 10 fertile eggs 1- early quitter, 1 - did not pip, 1 - died after hatch, the other 7 made it and are all healthy and happy as of today.

I do plan on turning my next hatch as per usual though!
