Today i Acidently ran over one of my hens now i feel like poop

aww I'm so sorry about your hen! :aww

Poor girl.
But listen. Don't beat yourself up about it. It was by mistake.

It happens. oh and luckily I'm one of the few people who hasn't caused an actual death over a pet. Yes, when I was little, I have killed other animals, such as frogs, etc. But I have never killed a pet by a mistake before.

(unless you count a fish that died, but he/she was old)

Oh I understand exactly how you feel. I raise OEB and I had some wonderful little fellows, they were just really getting to be fun.

Well I didn't shut the gate when I left for work and when I got home our dog had killed 4 of them.

It was awful and no one to blame but myself.
You just have to forgive yourself and give lots of love to the others.

I shut the kitchen door on an 8 week old kittens paw the other day. Man that cry was terrible and I felt like crap. This sort of thing happens and there is nothing that we can do about it. Keep in mind, your chicken had the good luck to explore the underside of your car, your driveway and your whole property. It was not living in a stinky cage without ever seeing the daylight. Forgive yourself.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your hen. Forgive yourself, it was an accident. I ran over my son's kitten one day. I was rushing out the door in an emergency, and ran the cat over. I felt so bad for a long time, still do actually to an extent. I'm really sorry for your loss, and for how she died. God bless.
