Today is a sad day

Persphone died sometime last night or this morning in a nesting box of heart failure. She will be deeply missed

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so heartbreaking to lose an animal that we so dearly love.
You are in my thoughts.

She was the only one I was really close to. I got home from work and my fiancee was crying because he just finished burying her. Ive been crying all night

I may not know you well, but you have my deepest condolences. I recently lost one of my favorite girls, and it’s so heartbreaking. She lived an amazing life with you. Again, I’m so sorry you lost her.

Ive picked out a rock to carve her name into and I placed fake flowers at her grave. I plan to plant wild flowers there. She loved chasing butterflies so maybe lavendar

Persephone will live forever because not only will she never be forgotten here but she has soooo much company in chicken heaven that everyone knows her beautiful little spirit there, too!!

It's a terrible thing to lose one you love so much. But she wasn't going to get any better and the only silver lining is that she just fell asleep. Yet it still stinks. I feel for the pain in your heart.
