You should lock them down at day 14 (so today). 3 days before due date so the chicks can position themselves to hatch [IMG]

    Good Luck![IMG]

I'm not quite certain... does lockdown mean stop turning the eggs, or stop opening the incubator, or both?

Lockdown means, stop turning the eggs. Up the humidity and stop opening the bator. Lock it down. (Means keep your hands off) [IMG]

shouldn't the humidity be raised up higher when you go into lock down as well?

Quote:YEPPERS [IMG] IN FACT THATS WHY YOU ARENT SUPPOSED TO OPEN THE BATOR OFTEN DURING LOCKDOWN--- TO KEEP THE HUMIDITY UP.
