Attended a sale today, and came home with lots of goodies!
Got a 2010 peach splash male, and a yellow gold hen for him, and i got two 2009 darkthroated hen. When i got home tonight and opened the boxes, i was suprised to find a darkthroat egg and a yellow gold egg!
Also picked up a valley quail male for a friend of mine, kind of hoping he doesnt want it, hes a cool little bird.
ANNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDDD, my first two turkeys hatched today!
Should have a few more poults hatch tomorrow!
Now the question, spectrum and others who have bred these, with the peach splash male over yellow female, will the offspring be peach splash and yellow 50/50 or what?
