Today was "Bring your Chicken to Work Day"...

Hey, I had one of those days last week XD And oddly enough, it was my boss who invited them.

I'm impressed; your little lady is so well behaved.

I have my chicks and ducklings shipped to my office so I get them a lot faster. My coworkers are always excited when they know a shipments due. I had a file drawer converted into a brooder for a while.

My husband also airfreighted to my office some adult roosters he bought while on a trip back east. That was interesting pulling two unhappy stinky roos out of their shipping boxes to put them in larger cages with food and water. I had almost a dozen people watching through the window that day. That wasn't to bad until about an hour later when one started crowign during a phone conference with my client.

My dogs go to work with me about once a month when I have meetings that will keep me here real late. My female is alseep on the floor next to me right now.

My cat came to work one day when he hopped into the back of my car while I was loading stuff, unbeknownst to me. He didn't announce his presence until I was almost at work. That was not the best day for either of us. I went home early.

What breed is your adorable little hen?

She's an Old English Bantam; 1 of 4 i have. i'm still looking for good chicken diapers. i bought a $25(!) diaper from My Pet Chicken, and it doesn't fit AT ALL. When i find a proper diaper, i'll bring all four of them in with me!​
