Today's temperature = # of eggs.

Today's high was 38 degrees F and I got one egg from my production red. My Japanese Bantam X is molting probably, so she hasn't laid one for weeks and her sister may be, too but she's lookin better. My barred rock is just too dang cold, and my silkie isn't laying yet.

Our high today was 42F, and we got an egg from each of our three girls. We have an "Easter Egger" (Maybelle), a Buff Orpington (Clover), and a Black Australorp (Trudy). They just started laying two weeks ago. Well, Trudy did. I think Clover started maybe a week ago, and Maybelle started yesterday. It's all SO exciting!

Today was 75 so "they" say... 54 tonight.

I have gotten 6 eggs in the past 24 hours

from four hens, 2 Red Sex Link and 2 EE's
