I got 10 eggs today outa 12 best day yet! Been getting between 6 and 9

Congratulations! Since my weather is about three weeks behind yours, I'm hoping for the same result. Nevertheless, we've been getting two eggs out of three pullets since December — when No. 3 went "offline." They will all be one year old on April 22.

Probably caught them when most had taken a day off recently, then a LOT lay, then time for a break! My guess is you'll be up from the 4 tomorrow (regardless of the temps and my theory

Mine aren't nearly as predictable as Gifa's

For instance, today there were 8 total. 5 before noon and 3 more sometime before 9 PM. So it is possible the early 5 might lay again tomorrow (and 3 of those have laid the last 6 days straight). One that took today off laid the previous 9 days. One of the later ones was from a girl that took the last days off.

Clearly mine are not on the "26 hour cycle".

Bruce I think you are right, about the egg laying! I only have one little bantam that's like clock work everyday. And her egg is soooo tiny! She's a very small hen about size of a pidgeon.. Have gotten 6 so far today..
