I am absolutely in love with Tolbunts and am going to start a project to "make" a Tolbunt Cochin. I'm going to work with bantams to start with. I would love for someone (or a couple people) to help me out with this project so we can have a few different lines to interbreed. The genetic "formula" for this color isn't difficult, but it will take a while to get the results I want. I realize there is a large Mille Fleur Cochin project going on, but I prefer the coloring and distribution of the Tolbunt, so I thought I'd give it a go. Anyone want to help?!
For inspiration, here's an example of what I'm going for (except in Cochins): http://www.chickencolours.com/TollbuntWyanEng.pdf This type of perfection would take quite a while, but it will never get there if we don't start somewhere!
