So I had my 2 week olds outside today and I noticed one's beak is all yellow but the others has a brown spot on it. Does this mean anything?

Those are just the markings on that particular bird.

Ok my "girls" are 3 weeks old today.
Does anyone think they can guess yet if they truly are girls?
Ava has more of a mohawk going on and Ana has kinda what resembles a fan.

I'm 95% sure he's a boy. (Past few days "he's" been acting very boy like)
Full Size Polish Tolbunt (NOT bantam)
he is smooth feathered but came from frizzle possible eggs so I may be wrong but i believe he can reproduce frizzle chicks.

Hi, everyone! I've been reading through this thread because I got my first and only Polish which happens to be a Tolbunt. According to what I've read here, I'm pretty sure she is a pullet. I believe she's between approx 8-10 wks old. I've named her Queen Bee because right away she put herself at the top of the pecking order in my grow-out pen with 8 chicks in it that are all around the same age but different breeds. Does everyone agree that she's a pullet? Also she has white legs right now and from what I've been reading they should be slate gray, right? Does this leg color come later

Anyone have any tips on picking out Tolbunt polish chicks. Im going to get two this weekend and would like to know if there is anything in perticular i should look for. The chicks are 1-4 weeks old.

Watch out for crooked toes. The older ones should have nice crest development, bigger is usually better. I like the darker chicks, with less white on their backs. The white will come soon enough, sometimes too much.
