I am ready for some smooth tolbunt too. Of the 8 chicks from Greenfire it seems 4 are smooth and 4 frizzled. I now have a pair of frizzled.

I've yet to get a frizzle, but then again, most of the time my frizzle boy has been actively covering the girls, the eggs have gone out the door. I don't mind not having a frizzle though. Honestly I like Tolbunts better smooth. However, colors like gold laced or similar unrecognized ones are just sheerly awesome in frizzle. At least, in females. Males ruin their feathers fast but females are really awesome looking as frizzles.

Do you by chance know who Greenfire got their Tolbunts from? I know they added in gold lace to improve them..... but I'm trying to decide if I should get a few from them. Right now I've got Jim Parker & Green Acre (Tolbunt 1\2 of my GL splits) lines- and if the ones in the bater hatch out well will have more Green Acre splits & Tolbunts from Bare Necessities, Creekside, and Parker line mixed together- and GL split to Bare Nec line.

If they are related to the ones I have already- I'll wait to get some from them.
