THANKS
Just went down to check on everyone and he let out his first crow. That is hysterical
My non-cavernous birds still have crests and a V comb (although butterfly type) so I'm sure it isn't fully that which makes the case.
Those two both look cavernous, so, sexing is indeterminate at this age. I personally never judge by crest shape or size but some people do. Only way to know for sure is to let it mature.
My understanding is that all birds that have duplex combs should have cavernous nostrils -- except Buttercups. Is the lack of cavernous nostrils a DQ in Polish, does anyone know?
Also, just hatched out my first Tolbunt this weekend. Very excited and glad to be chiming in to this thread. And no, the chick in this pic does NOT have three feet! LOL

Are those the ones they had on Ebay this year? I saw the listing but thought it was Tolbunt roos over houdans & orloffs. Keep us posted on how they turn out!!I received the eggs from someone. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they turn out as they have been outcrossed with Houdan and Orloffs and taken back to Tolbunts for two generations.
