. BEAUTIFUL

Some new photos of my 2 month old tolbunts.

The one with the funky comb

This one is so curious

I like the green sheen on the black

I love her white crest, but I hope as she matures it gets more color :)

Next to one of the 3 month old gold laced, amazing they will be that big soon!

This one was playing in the water bowl, but look at that green sheen all over him..soo pretty

The two runts, hard to believe they are the same age :( I don't know what to do with them, I can't put them out in the coop, they would be trampled.

You really don't want that funky comb, trust me.

Also, in reply to a few pages back on the "blue Tolbunt" not only is it obviously a WCBlue cross, but, I wouldn't, if I were the owner, breed it as a Tolbunt as the crest both as a chick and older are just too small anyway. Tolbunts need to be Polish, too. Course, as a pet, it is a very pretty bird!

Anyway, here's my oldest Tolbunt Polish pullet -

Here's a sex-linked non-bearded. Although to most if not all of you, he just looks like some crazy colored weird bird, he's actually technically a Tolbunt, just, with one silver gene instead of both gold genes. And, he is clean-faced. Although I prefer to breed fully bearded ones, I'm going to try him for a bit and clean up the beard issue in 2 generations. He's got nice size only two other cockerels compete with so far, and neither are so close to a true Tolbunt as he. I was pretty unlucky and lost a couple birds. (not including the main Tolbunt parents of mine)

Not much to show really. Hopefully I'll start hatching again this year, but, that depends on if I get the Polish pen back again and when the cockerels will start breeding.

Yes the funky comb is not being bred, I like the bird though, has a great personality :)
