Tolbunt Polish

My Tolbunt hen just laid her first egg today. It is so

small. The rooster I got at the same time as her hasn't started crowing yet. They were both born in July.

A Tolbunt at 4 months old laying? Are you sure it was her?

Hmm maybe it was one of my silkies. There eggs are usually darker. I don't know. I have two silkie pullets that hatched in May do you think it could be one of them?

Bought my first pair of tolbunts today! Would love to hear people's thoughts/critiques of them and what I should work on when I start breeding

It's hard to tell from the pics, but the male's crest looks a little small. How old are they?

Polish eggs are pure white, no tint whatsoever.

I think that egg i got was from a silkie or maybe my dorking. So when do Tolbunt polish start laying? I got a pair of them in July they are about 6 months old now. The male just started crowing yesterday.
