I heard peeping from the eggs when I held them to my ear so I put them in lockdown tonight... The hard part is still to come though. That, of course, is to keep the lid on the incubator no matter what!

Put some wet sponges in the incubator.

Ok the temp is going up & the humidity is perfect so the eggs are in. Day 1 is tomorrow! YAY!!!!!

Now that I'm in lockdown and the water channels are full with the sponges in them, it's sitting pretty good at 65%. I may try to get it a bit higher, but I'm pretty happy with it. Temp is running between 99-100, so I'm sitting pretty good.

I've got 14 olive eggers and 14 more that are RIR hen with Blue copper marans Roo . I Made a hatcher last week to use with the eggs. I have 2 batches of eggs that are 1 week apart . It was fun to build .Now I can do consecutive hatches . My incubator can hold 120 eggs .If all goes well with my olive eggers, I will be selling some chicks in the spring and finally get to load that sucker lol
