Toms? Or not??

I don't have any other toms to choose, unless I buy one off Craigslist or FB. Then I have no clue if the new tom was late developing, diseased, etc.
True unless you are dealing with someone like me who will tell the truth about what I am selling. Too bad you are so far away because I have four 3 month old toms needing new homes and in my opinion they are beauties.

You just have to pick between the ones you have.

Yeah. Dunno why it seems so hard to get the birds we want to be the genders we want. Had to process 6 cockerels yesterday that were absolutely gorgeous, definitely keepers if they had been females. I really wanted one of the slates to be a male, then would have had pure slates this spring.

You are only about 1000 miles away, that's what, a 2-3 day car trip with 2 drivers?

You could talk @casportpony to making the trip with you. She is somewhere in CA.

So, just finished. We chose the smaller one, Nugget, because I liked the bigger one, Dumpling, better. Dumpling is a little more tolerant of being petted and felt heavier when I lifted them both.

Nugget was 10.8 pounds processed, and looks terrible. We dry plucked and he was growing feathers so there are still tons of pin feathers we couldn't get out.

I talked to my boyfriend, and while he does want to visit Wyoming, he wasn't wanting to drive that far for just a turkey. I will have to think of something else on the way to, or in Wyoming to provide more incentive. I may have asked this before, but do you ship hatching eggs?

You did ask before and no I don't ship anything. You could always visit @TurkeyTimes and his penciled flock in Idaho instead.

congrats on your baby boy!! I love toms!! my dad would try to smoke a cigarette, and my Tom would Jump into my dad lap, and grab the cigarette and throw it on the ground. He is so commical. Or when we went to school, i had to cage him up outside cause he'd be running down to cath the bus with us in the mornings. and he would run down the road about 5mins early to meet me on my way home. he was honestly the best bird in the world. everyone told me he is an asshole now, he would peck at anyone who put thier hand in the cage. so i turned around throw my arm in there in he didnt peck me at all. I love him, he is a good boy!!

Nugget was delicious. Cooked him up along with Pudge the meat chicken.
