No problem! Did you put the chicks that hatched a couple days ago into the brooder? There may have been some cool spots in the incubator delaying a few of the chicks, or vice versa if the others were early then there may have been warm spots.
I usually change it in between staggered hatches. I have one that will hatch out on the 12th the next after that is the 16th which gives me a few days to clean out the incubator and the liner. I use a Hovabator styrafoam incubator so similar to a Little Giant. I have the plastic liner for water underneath and will take it out and spray it out then wipe it clean and put it back in. It gets a big cleaning and disinfecting at the end of hatching.
oh no, you've been very sick my friend. Don't mess around with pneumonia and sepsis wow. Are you still in the hospital? Healing vibes your way.I think it's just egg now... I found it after I wrote that
Feeling a bit better than I was yesterday but still sounds like the sepsis hasn't cleared and the antibiotics for it are rough.
I don't know if I said it on here but along with pneumonia I have sepsis. I knocked my birthday out of the ballpark this year
I love hatching too but what do you do with all those chicks?Even if I said I won't hatch any chicks next month, I probably still will. lol, I just enjoy hatching entirely too much.

Can I join in. No chicken eggs but im on day 13 for button quail. And have japanese quail on the way to set around this weekend. First time hatching, have started my own thread too.![]()
Hmm Im sure the rules are different in every state but in general what are the rules? and how do you sell ie: word of mouth or ad? Im pretty sure here in MA if you sell there is like a chick minimum like 6 chicks or something but what if you want to just sell a few? Just curiousMost of them go to new homes. I only keep a few out of every hatch.
