Hello and welcome to BYC! Good job rescuing those chicks! :)

New news, our College Street Chicks are Amercauna's who knew? Since their rescue they have really filled out in size. Chicken Little, the smallest is my buddy and greets me whenever I journey to the back yard where I also have a brand new art cottage that my husband built me last summer. In September he will be constructing a little cottage coop for the girls with more room when they can't be free ranging. I also have a Jack Russel Terrier that is a small but real threat to the girls.

I am a retired dog trainer and hopefully I can at least trust Dixie when I am out with her but I will never trust her alone with the chicks. Any advice on training methods? Dixie was here first!
