when I lived in town... we used to go all out for halloween... hubby would stay home and give out candy... we used fog machine and all kinds of decorations and we dressed up ... I would take the kids trick or treating and then come home and help him... nobody trick or treats around here... so i quit decorating(still by candy-so I can eat it..lol)
