In the meanwhile as I wait for the feeding tube to arrive, how should I try to feed it?

Yes, I would try to see if she will eat.
She needs hydration first, but you can try mashed up scrambled egg.

You can use a dropper, a syringe, or a small spoon. A QTip might work to get some into her. Some people make chicken feed balls with a bit of water Canned cat food for part of the diet is also helpful.

Ok, so I tried giving it some mashed up potatoes this time but no matter what I give it, except for water, there is not much success. The chicken keeps pushing it out with its tongue by accident

Gonna be really hard, if not impossible, for it to eat without a top beak.
Are you sure you want to tube feed that bird forever?

I hope you can try to get some chick starter grower from a feed store or Tractor Supply. That would be best for her, unless you can get KayTee Baby Bird Feed from Walmart to use with tube feeding. The chicken in the thread who lost her whole beak, learned to eat pieces of scrambled egg after being tube fed for awhile, and then eventually learned to eat wet and dry chicken feed.

Poor girl! If you can manage to run cold water over the wound every day for 10-20 minutes without getting water in her nostrils it should really help the healing process.

Sorry for the long wait but here's an update on the chicken! This is its right side of its face. There is a bit of a purple spot on it's lower beak, what should I do about it?

Here is an image of the other side of its face. It has opened it's left eye but is still struggling to keep it open.

It might be bruised. I am not sure what you would do for it. She looks alert. How is she doing? Is she eating and drinking? Is her other eye gone or okay?
