Mostly my list consists of chickens that originate in America. (Keeping it local somewhat)

1 Lamona
2 Holland
3 Chantecler
4 Java
5 Delaware
6 Buckeye
7 Dominique
8 Sebright and Nankin
9 Standard leghorn that is not a production leghorn (not American but has definitely a long history of misuse in America)

10 Last but not least the Plymouth Rock (ie Not the production Plymouth Rock)!!!!

i have been looking for good sultans and cant find any any wheres :-( (thats bantams by the way) so i had no choice but to order from a hatchery :-(

oh ive also been looking for d'uccle and havent been able to find the colors im looking for...black being one of those colors

If there's a breed I've never ever heard of at shows, never seen someone show off, even of hatchery quality, never see anyone else talk about, but still is APA recognized - It's the Catalana. Seriously where are those?

Welp Hatchery has black mottled if that's what you mean by black....

I would have to say yes on the penedesenca
have you tried to find many Crele's or Blacks lately?

I finally got my White Empordanesa. Have only found 3 breeders with these. Probably more but have looked very hard.
Crele are almost as hard to find. Have found maybe 10 people with them.
