Hello all!

As the amount of traffic and newcomers to this site increases I’ve noticed a lot of posts that concern already heavily discussed topics.

Before a whole new thread on a topic is started, might I suggest using the ‘Search’ feature the admin of the site has so graciously provided for us to use!

It’s the little magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the site page.

Click on it and you’ll see that it opens a blank window for you to type your search criteria into.

It works very well! And even when using more than a single word as the search criteria, itis very efficient at giving good search results!

Personally speaking, this has helped me A LOT with finding answers to my questions and concerns!

So this is a very handy tool to use when needing answers and advice in the area of all things discussed here at BYC!

Now go forth and Search and ENJOY!

Good post Bear. The repetition clogs stuff up a bit sometimes for sure.

A note. If you do make a new unique thread, add some descriptive tags to it! Things like the breed being discussed, or the disease, or "integration". I am pretty sure the tags have a lot to do with what pops up in the search results. Someone correct me if im wrong...

:welcome :frow to all of the newcomers. I too use the search function but I like to research things. Everyone is different and their ways and situations can be to, as well as the sizes of their flocks, so what works well for one person may not work as well for another person. There are a lot of threads that are repetitive. Many people have had experiences that have been learned the hard way by trial and error. Good luck to everyone and have fun...
