Torn back leg! DOG ATTACK

I'm checking in on you regarding your attacked Hen.
How is she doing?
Shes doing great. Her leg is healing almost perfect. I just dont know if she will forever limp 😭 she doesnt use the damaged leg almost at all. Which is why im keeping her apart from the others. But for how long should i keep her separate? Its felt like its been forever but its only been 2 weeks lol

GREAT NEWS!!!!
LOL, yes, it does seem Forever when they are in your Infirmary.
Are their open raw areas?
Flys away.
Send me a picture but, hopefully with your tender loving care you will be able to just keep the remainder if the wound covered in Blu-kote so the others are not attracted visibly to peck her, start giving her time with them with a watchful eye.
That way, you'll know how tge pecking order will go.
Otherwise, you'll need to "look no touch" to re introduce her.
Shes been injuried and will probably stand up herself now.. limp or no limp..
Im excited to hear more..

To me it has like a white powder on it now. It has fully dried. No raw areas at all

After separation from the flock birds have to regain their position in the pecking order. It is extremely difficult for a timid or weakened bird to do so. It might work better to keep her in her own area and introduce the least aggressive flock member to her. After several days if all goes well, try another - repeat until the flock is all together.
