I have 2 silkie roosters they both are missing ALL their tail feathers. What could cause this? What should I do for it?
Pests? Plucking? I’m confused! I inspected all the birds today. Some had poop on their butts. No signs of lice eggs. Some girls have torn feathers but I believe it’s from the boys. Please help, has anyone had this happened before?!?

it looks like she's being plucked. how big is their area and what do they eat?
Their coop is 4x6 and their run is 8x7. I have a total of 9 birds. 5 regular size chickens 4 Silkies. I am making their run bigger this spring because I learned this winter they won’t leave their run with snow. I do feel they need more room. They didn’t have the free ranging ability like they do in the warmer months. But I try to give them at least 1 hour of free ranging. I have never seen fighting and they boys have been raised together. They are currently on Purina Flock raiser. The only treats are meal worms to go into the coop if I can’t watch them.
