Totally excited about small order..............

I am so excited to get my chick order from My Pet Chicken. I have never ordered from there, but had some recent chicken deaths and only wanted a very small amount for our limited open space (5). I get so exasperated about packing peanuts and have never understood why they could not ship with some kind of heating element besides roo's for small orders (we NEVER order large). In my opinion, I always felt I was doing all the work re-homing roo's (especially after you get kind of attached to them). We ordered:

BC Maran
EE
White Sultan (my 10 y.o. daughter's pick)
Blue Cochin (daughter)
Salmon Favorelle (daughter)

We are newbies with the last three. Anyone have Sultan, Cochin and Favorelles?? What about My Pet Chicken?

I also ordered a blue cochin from mypetchicken. My first time though. heard good things about them.

Never ordered from them but Cochins are my favorite! They are so sweet and mine have always been quiet calm birds. I had a Cochin roo who I called my lap chicken. He would literally jump in my lap for treats and things.

I have a 1 week old standard blue cochin and a 1 week old white cochin. Good luck with your birdies! I think you'll like the cochins!

You will love them. Salmon Fav's TALK and talk and talk and TALK to you. A LOT lol At least mine always have. It's like they are tellin ya a big story. Ratting everyone out, complaining when its cold, complaining when it's to hot, I need food, I need water. LOL Ya, did I mention mine talk A LOT? They are sweet tho. Not sure of the sultan, never had those.

I ordered a special on RIR's last August. Out of all 25, none of them died! I was very impressed. Congrats to you!
