They want everyone to know who's boss. We're lucky they aren't too bad! We free-ranged them together for a while. They usually will just give the hens a bite on the tail when they get too close to them haha

I lover the names you gave your geese! My only question is where is their queen?
Hello. I am planning on getting some toulouse geese later this year once we have a house built. We are going to get a pair along with some ducks. Does anyone keep their ducks and geese together? Do they get along? Will I need a separate place to keep the geese around breeding time?
Good to know!! Thank you.@fearnowsh Mine are together during the day but at night they have their own houses. Then during breeding season my geese have to have their own area. My geese are not nice to the rest of our birds chickens and ducks.
Welcome to BYC
Where are you located?I have been looking every where for for eggs or a breeding pair of toulouse. I am about to go crazy.
That is unfortunate. I have 11 Toulouse and the ganders are beginning to fight among themselves over the females (5 males 6 females). I really need to rehome probably four pair to get things back to manageable. I really don't want to have to advertise them because around her that means the dinner table and though that might be their fate I raised them from goslings and have developed an affection to them.I am in treton georgia
