I agree - just a bluff. My girls do this as well. It usually happens when food is around.Missy is gaining confidence and establishing herself, which is wonderful! She is really adjusting well. My africans are boss of the food bowls and kiddie pools. If the ducks are in those places when the want to eat/drink, they will bluff and sometimes even nip at my ducks, but it doesn't mean anything. The ducks will scatter then are right back under their noses within a minute or two and the africans go back to tolerating them hanging out. My muscovy girls actually prefer to be with my africans rather than be around my other ducks. I probably wouldn't worry about it too much with Missy. She is a good girl.
Also - my Gander made it across the border!


He had health papers and everything, so it wasn't an issue. I am getting him next weekend!
