We live close to an airport, so this head cocking happens almost hourly

Not too close that it's noisy, but 10 minutes away, and they always pass overhead.

Sammy always spots the aircraft up in the sky, we can't even hear it and I'll see him with his head cocked looking at one flying over head.

Lydia we have a gander who alerts to airplanes. Sends everyone running and he just stands there watching. We have a neighbor who is a helicopter pilot and landed at his property last week, poor birds didnt know what to think of that big bird coming down.
