My gander has been having a snotty nose lately. The drainage is usually clear, some times white. He is eating and drinking fine. Has 2 pools to dip his head into. Straw for bedding. I have put a bucket of clean water out with ACV for him. He gets a little better after awhile once he drinks/rinses with it. Should I get medicine for him? If so what? Thanks in advance

Try the ACV for a couple days before going to antibiotics, they can create their own problems, I'd put 2-3 Tab of ACV into a 1 gallon bucket till this passes. any other symptoms is he eating good acting normal. Good ventilation in his house? No mold in there?

I would love to add 2 donkeys into the mix. that would be fun. I am seeing more and more donkeys in with goats and cattle around here makes me want some so much. BUT My dh would high tail it out of here if I even mentioned it.

So what do you DO with a donkey? Why do you have them? Any reason other than being cute??


I freeze some of my chicken's eggs (scrambled in containers) so that I have eggs all winter when they go on hiatus. Has anyone ever done this with goose eggs? It seems like it would be a great idea if you want to keep some for the rest of the year, especially for the holiday baking seasons!

update just talk to one of the owners of incubator warehouse and they are taking care of this with no problems and considering discontinuing the thermostat
