She's probably snickering that she faked you out LOL.

Probably so, although the one she laid the other day I put in their new house and last night she was laying on it, I still have to pick them up and put them to bed of an evening, they don't realize their new home yet. But the chickens sure do like to lay their eggs in it.

She has been doing LOTS these past 2 weeks, going to school, visiting the employees at Bookmans, house sitting lol

She looks like she has the house sitting down pat.

She's great! She eats all the bug, takes care of the pools, keeps the little dogs under control, and now she gets to sleep right next to me in the crib! At home she sleeps at the head of the bed. There's a nice little spot for her.
I know there are some people who keep ducks and geese inside with diapers, so I just wondered what happens to their eggs! That would probably be pretty funny. Thankfully I have a year-ish to worry about that!

She's great! She eats all the bug, takes care of the pools, keeps the little dogs under control, and now she gets to sleep right next to me in the crib! At home she sleeps at the head of the bed. There's a nice little spot for her.

They still have a week I think... I am keeping track of them by way of some duck eggs lol. When those sucker start hatching I know I've got a day to put the goosey eggs in lock down. We haven't decided if we can really keep a second one or not. If we can get the bedroom totally goose proof so Trina can have free roam of the room while I'm in class without me worrying she will get into something she can choke on, I should be able to convince DH to let me keep another. We have also been debating doing a 50/50 indoor outdoor split - Putting her outside with some ducks, maybe another goose, in the morning while I'm at school, and letting her back in to "hang out" in the afternoon when I'm home and then sleeping inside. It would give her daily sun time, and a chance to socialize, but we don't have a duck house or any ducks yet, waiting on them to hatch. She's my first waterfowl.

Zoe, Dora and Ariel are growing SO fast! Twice daily I take them out of their brooder bin to swim for a bit, then let them explore the deck. (I have barriers up so they don't go down the steps or fall over the side through the railing.)

They have tried to eat the text off the side of a bale of shavings, they found a cut zip-tie to play with, and they each found a pine needle to nibble and keep away from each other.

Neither of the two ganders have seen them, but I have seen both Caleb (formerly "Kate" but I finally re-named him something masculine that still sounds close to "Kate") and Angus have HEARD them gabbling quietly up on the deck. Caleb is busy with the ducklings he's assisting a mama duck in raising. Angus tilts his head up to try to see onto the deck through the cardboard box gosling barrier. As my property is on a slope, both ganders can walk to a spot where they would normally be able to see the deck surface, were it not for the barrier shield. Angus has tried to see what's going on with the happy little hooty noises they make when they're swimming and exploring.

I can hardly wait until I feel comfortable enough to let them into the yard....
