Toulouse Geese Thread

My babies have gotten so big! Serv or anyone else can you tell what I've got? I'm pretty sure there is at least a pair there as I caught them being naughty..but only once. Any ideas?

I will defer to Serv for a more accurate guess but, based on my limited knowledge and my three, I would guess three females and a possible male. How about the sounds they make. Can you describe that or do they all make the same sound?

This pic I'm gonna post shows the one I think is a gander, and the little one to his right is the one that I caught him trying to have relations with the one time. Yeah that one looked more masculine to me (but I'm a goose newb) it's much more blocky and larger than the others, and like I said I'm about 95% sure I saw it/him doing the hankey pankey with that smaller one to the right.

Miss Lydia I didn't actually see his parts...they were a ways away and facing towards me. But they were doing the same motions that my muscovies do when getting it on. And the smaller one that he/it was on didn't seem stressed at all, (she?) actually got up and loved on him a bit then I assume (again I'm a goose newb) that she was presenting herself to him. Because she got right I front of him and laid down again, and she looked like she was trying to seduce him lol.

Lol! How old do Toulouse geese have to be before fertile? My hubbies mom once had a pair of ? and he said that it took the male three years to become fertile and that one day the hen just walked out of the barn with three babies behind her.

I've got 2 female toulouse babies coming at the end of April this year. (So excited! And so is my gander! Lol) When should I expect the girls to be fertile and laying? I know not this year but should I expect next spring 2016?

I forgot to ask earlier. Has anyone had any luck with or put their goose in a diaper in the house? I'm getting 2 girls and was thinking put 1 out with my Roman tufted gander so he leaves my poor ducks alone and keep one girl in the house as a sort of therapy animal since I have panic attacks and few other problems that I've found are eased by my pets. My gander helps ease them when I can catch him. (He's not the tamest) I want one of the girls to be an indoor goose and tame like go in the car and places with me if possible. Anyone have any luck with diapers or finding a decent priced place that sells them? I'm not crafty so making them myself would be a disaster! Lol sorry this is so long!
